Scrubs

Hello The Internet
Just wanting to explore the limits of blogging and what exactly I can do, so I'm doing this post to see if I can put YouTube material on. What you hopefully should be seeing is a scene from my favourite television show, 'Scrubs'. Fingers crossed it works!!!

Top 5 Songs of the Week

Here is my top 5 songs I am listening to this week:

1. Chicago - Sufjan Stevens

Sufjan (Yes we are on a first name basis) in my hero, such a unique artist and great fun to listen to. This is just a nice little song I like from his 'Illinois' album. Some nice alternate versions of this one on his latest release 'The Avalanche'.

2. The Good That Won't Come Out - Rilo Kiley
A friend put me onto these guys and always like to listen to it. Jenny Watson has a great voice and love listening to it.

3. Time Running - Tegan and Sara
Who said chicks can't rock. Tegan and Sara are great, and this song showcases just how good they can rock out.

4. Ride - Cary Brothers

A nice slow, haunting song. Appearing on the soundtrack to Zack Braff's new movie, 'The Last Kiss' (see last post). They also had a song on the soundtrack to his last film 'Garden State'. Check them out, good stuff!

5. I Remember - Damien Rice
Damien Rice is simply amazing. 'O' is quite exhausting to listen to as he puts so much emotion and so much of himself into this album. This song is a perfect reflection of that.

Zach Braff

Just thought I'd just put a little advertisement for a cool movie and a cool blog. Both are credited to the actor, Zach Braff from the T.V series 'Scrubs' and wrote, directed and starred in the movie 'Garden State'. The trailer I am showing is related to his new movie coming out called 'The Last Kiss', which looks like it would be pretty good. So check both of them out. I COMMAND YOU!

TRISTAN'S BLOG!!!

Hello All

Yay I am now a blogger! Being the latest fad out there I thought I'd follow the crowd (I need something to do between watching The O.C and wearing my stripey polo shirt with the collar up). I tried that stupid MySpace crap, but that place is way too confusing!

Well basically I have set up this blog as a way of mass communicating my adventures as I head over the the U.S and work for a few months at Walt Disney World in Florida. It sounds a lot easier then just mass emailing everyone I know while I am over there, so here I am. I am setting it up now as a way of getting familiar with the whole blogging thing as I am still new to it, and still dont know fully how it works. I guess what will come is a load of stuff thats happening with the application process and getting all my crap together for it.

Thats all I am gonna say on the matter now, and will post a more a bit later, maybe mention a bit about the interview and my nightmare day trying to get my passport application in. Look forward to that! (or not, I really dont care)

Toodles!

Tristan
